Privacy Policy
Scope
This notice covers krenvoldis.com only. It is written against the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and it describes the site as it is actually built: a set of static pages with no accounts, no payments and no login.
Operator
The site is operated by Jack Wilson, an individual publisher in Australia. Privacy correspondence goes to [email protected].
Information handled
- Technical request data. Your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and your browser identification string are recorded by the web server for every visit. This happens for any website and is used for availability and abuse investigation.
- Consent-based measurement. If you accept in the cookie notice, an analytics service may record which pages were opened and for how long. Declining leaves this unused.
- Email you send us. Held only while your enquiry is open, then deleted.
- Plan and review requests. The form on the practice plans page collects your name, email address, the option you selected and an optional note about your play. It is sent as an ordinary email from your own account — the website itself neither stores nor transmits it — and we use it only to prepare and deliver what you asked for. Card and banking details are never requested by email.
Purposes
Technical data keeps the site online and secure. Measurement data tells us which guides deserve updating. Email is used to answer you and for nothing else — we do not build mailing lists and we do not pass addresses on.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider processes request data as part of serving pages. An analytics provider and, where advertising is served, an advertising network, receive only what the categories you accepted allow. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Your rights in practice
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of anything inaccurate or out of date.
- Change your cookie decision by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.
- Raise a complaint with us; unresolved complaints can be taken to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Storage and location
The site keeps no visitor database of its own. Where a service provider stores data outside Australia, that is limited to what delivering the service requires.
Updates to this notice
Changes are published here with a revised date. Where a change is material, we say so on the home page rather than relying on the date alone.
